What was the highlight of Heartland Hotel Queenstown
Great location, but could use an upgrade
The view was amazing, it was within walking distance to town - but the walk back up the hill was awful.
The bathroom is in desperate need of some repairs / upgrades. The plug for bath was broken and we had to get a new one. The wood is all rotten around the tub area, the mechanism for the bath or shower didn’t work that great, so when running bath the shower still dribbled and when having shower the bath dribbled. No air con in the room, and the heater system was quite tricky to work out. The plugs for the light fittings were dangerous with exposed wires, and when we asked for our room to be cleaned daily, only the towels and condiments were replaced, no vacuuming. The bed mattresses could definitely be replaced they both slumped in the middle.

Good location in Queenstown. An easy walk to the town centre. Parking on a first serve basis but there was a lot of carparks.

What was the highlight of Heartland Hotel Queenstown
A suitable hotel in Queenstown.
The Hotel is situated about 500 mts. from City Centre. Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarket, shops etc. within walking distance. The room allotted to us was larger than usual with a balcony facing the lake and the main street. the balcony had a wonderful view of the lake, city, gondola etc. The staff is efficient and service is good. The hotel is situated on a slope and to get into and out of the hotel, it is necessary to deal with the slope and some stairs depending on the room allotted. This needs to be kept in mind while booking. I would highly recommend this hotel to tourist visiting queenstown.
The furniture is slightly old.
